No. EII is an independent non-profit organisation. We work extensively with government agencies and county governments as clients and partners, but we are not part of government ourselves.

Both. In-house courses are tailored to your organisation and delivered on your premises; open programs bring delegates from different organisations together, usually at a shared venue. Every course on our catalogue supports either format.

Yes. Every delegate who completes a course receives a certificate bearing the EII brand. Where a partner institution co-delivered the program, both brands appear on the certificate.

It varies by course — from a single-day sensitisation session up to multi-week certification programs. Each course card on our Courses page shows its typical duration.

As a non-profit, our fees are generally modest and negotiable — priced per day, per delegate and per program, depending on duration, venue and group size. The prices shown on the Courses page are indicative starting estimates; a firm quote comes with your proposal.

Use the "Register" button on any course card, or the "Register Interest" button on the Educational Tours page. A short form takes your name, email and organisation — no payment is taken at that stage.

Our team reviews your brief, works out the learning need, and sends back a tailored proposal — covering scope, schedule and fees — for you to confirm before anything is booked.

It's EII's corporate-membership structure — ongoing advisory access, free awareness programs, and a resource centre, so the relationship continues after your first course ends. Full details are on our Mentorship Programs page.

Most members start with a course or advisory engagement, then enrol formally afterward. Reach out via our Contact page and mention you'd like to discuss corporate membership.

Our office is in Nairobi, but our study missions and partnerships have reached delegates from 35 countries across five continents. Most of our recurring client base is Kenyan public, private and civil-society institutions.
