The full policy below has the detail — this is the four-sentence summary.
Names, emails, phone numbers, organisations and messages you submit through our forms — nothing more than what you type in.
To respond to your enquiry, process a course or tour registration, and send updates you've asked for.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we hold on you at any time — see Section 10 below.
The Ethics and Integrity Institute ("EII", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what personal information this website collects, how it is used, who it may be shared with, and the choices and rights you have — whether you're browsing our courses, registering interest in a tour, or getting in touch through the Contact page.
This Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

We do not knowingly collect payment card details through this website; fees for confirmed engagements are handled separately through invoicing.
Where Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 applies, we process personal information on the basis of your consent (for example, when you tick the consent box on our Contact form, or subscribe to our newsletter), to take steps toward a service agreement at your request, or in pursuit of EII's legitimate non-profit interests in delivering and improving its programs.
This website loads certain resources from, and links out to, third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
We keep personal information for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, deliver the program you've registered for, and meet our legal, accounting and reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the personal information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) if you believe your information has been mishandled. To exercise any of these rights with EII, see Section 15 (Contact Us).
EII's courses, tours and consultancy services are directed at working professionals, institutions and their staff. This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Some third-party services this website relies on (see Section 6) may store or process data outside Kenya. Where that happens, we expect those providers to maintain appropriate safeguards under their own privacy policies and applicable law.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we'll use your email address to send updates about new courses, study missions and forums. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email, or by contacting us directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
