What Counts

What's generally worth reporting.

If you're not sure whether something qualifies, EACC's Report Centre can help you work that out — you don't need to be certain before reaching out.

Money, gifts, or favours offered or demanded in exchange for a decision, approval, contract, or service that should be granted on merit alone.

Rigged tenders, inflated invoices, ghost suppliers, or contracts awarded to a bidder who didn't actually meet the criteria.

A public or private official using the authority of their position for personal benefit, rather than the purpose it was granted for.

A decision-maker with an undisclosed personal or financial stake in the outcome of a decision they're responsible for making.

Hiring, promotion, or contracting decisions based on family or personal ties rather than merit or a fair process.

Public or organisational funds diverted for personal use, or spent in a way that doesn't match what they were budgeted or approved for.
